What
services is RoConnect.com offering?
Answer: RoConnect.com offers high quality telecom
services that you can use to stay in contact with your family, friends and business
partners across the globe at significantly lower rates than by using traditional
telecom providers. Under one master RoConnect account, our clients have the
option to use any combination of services:
- High quality international calling from any phone or iPhone.
- Virtual Phone Numbers from 50+ countries.
- Fax-To-Email Numbers from 30+ countries.
RoConnect.com operates under Advanced Networks Corp, a company based in Chicago,
United States.
Where
are RoConnect.com services available? Can I use the service in my country?
Answer: Our international calling services, Virtual
Phone Numbers and Fax-To-Email numbers are available for clients worldwide.
Our international calling service can be used by dialing access numbers in certain
countries (
see list of access
number here) or can be used from anywhere in the world with our RoConnect
VoIP Softphone app for iPhone over WiFi/3G internet. Virtual Phone Numbers can
be forwarded to any existing phone number in the world. Fax-To-Email numbers
are forwarded to an email address so clients can get a fax anywhere in the world.
What
do I need in order to use RoConnect services?
Answer: RoConnect.com services can be used with
your existing phone and there is nothing to change with your current phone
service provider or plan. Under one master RoConnect account, you can register
multiple phone numbers and select any combination of our services. For billing
purposes, you will need a valid credit card number.
Our service it's extremly easy to use, there no equipment to buy and no software
to install on your PC.

How
can I signup? Where can I select the services that I want?
Answer: You can
signup
online and enter your personal and billing information's. After
entering your information's, on the next page you will have the option to select
the services that you want to use.
Is there a term contract for RoConnect services?
Answer: No. Our services are offered on a month
to month basis and there is no term contract.
What service options do I have when signing up?
Answer: On the
Signup
page, under one account you can select any combination of RoConnect.com
services that you want to use:
- international calling from a registered phone and calling from an iPhone over WiFi/3G
- Virtual Phone Numbers from over 50+ countries
- Fax-To-Email Number from 30+ countries
How
can I make changes to my service selection after I signup?
Answer: Simply send an email to our support staff
and we'll be glad to make the changes for you. There is no extra charge to make
any changes at anytime to your services. (Virtual Phone Numbers and fax-To-Email
numbers have an activation fee)

How
long does it take for my account to be activated?
Answer: At RoConnect.com we use automated and manual
systems to verify new accounts activations, including proper billing information's.
New accounts are usually activated within the same business day if the account
was opened during business hours or the next business day if the account was
opened outside of business hours. Virtual Phone Numbers and Fax-To-Email Numbers
may take up to 48 hours to activate based on numbers availability.
RoConnect business hours are:
Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (USA Central Standard Time, GMT-5)
How do I know when my account has been activated?
Answer: Upon activation, you will receive a "Welcome"
email from RoConnect.com with details regarding your account. You will receive
additional emails if you purchased a Virtual Phone Number, Fax-ToEmail Number
or selected the iPhone RoConnect VoIP app option.
Can
I access or update my account online?
Answer: Yes, you can access your account online
at anytime on our
CRM
page here. Once login to your account, you will be able to check
the account balance, calls history, international calling rates, pay outstanding
invoices, update your account info, change your registered phone numbers, change
the phone number where you receive calls on your Virtual Phone Number.
A very few settings CAN NOT be updated online and those changes can be ONLY
made by sending us an email (for security and reliability reasons): your email
address registered for Fax-To-Email number.
How
can I update my registered credit card number?
How
can I close my account? Is there a closing or cancelation fee?
Answer: Our services are offered on a month to
month basis and there is no term contract so you can close your RoConnect.com
account at anytime. If you decide to close your RoConnect.com account, simply
send an email to info@roconnect.com . After your account has been canceled,
a final invoice will be generated and the invoiced amount it will be charged
to your registered credit card. We do not charge a closing fee.
International Calling
How International Calling works?
Answer: You can make international calls (at rates
much lower that charged by traditional telecom carriers) from any registered
phone or from iPhone over WiFi/3G, without the need to make any changes on your
existing phone service. We offer two ways of making calls:
1. To start making calls with your existing phone:
Register your phone numbers - your home phone, office phone, and mobile
phone - whatever phones you frequently use.
Dial our access number in your country - click
here to check access number in your country. RoConnect.com
will recognize your phone number with its Caller ID and you will not be required
to enter a PIN to make a call. Make sure that the Caller ID is not blocked.
Listen the greeting. Dial the number you want to call and press # (pound)
key.
2. To start making calls with your iPhone over WiFy/3G internet and RoConnect
VoIP app:
When signing up, select the option to make calls from iPhone
Follow instructions received by email to download and set-up RoConnect VoIP
app.
On your iPhone, start RoConnect app and dial the number you want to call.
Where can I find information on International calling rates?
How do I register or change the phone numbers registered to my account?
Answer: Login to your account at CRM
page. To register a new phone number, on the left menu click on Users,
Add ANI , enter the new phone number and click Apply. Enter numbers without
any spaces or dashes. To delete a registered phone number, on the left menu
click on Users, select the phone number you want to delete and click Delete
ANI.
Please note that only phone numbers used for international calling can be
updated online. If you need to add/delete Virtual Phone Numbers or iPhone
users, please email us at info@roconnect.com
Make sure that Caller ID's is not blocked for the phone numbers registered.
We recommend that customers DO NOT register phones in dormitories, hotels,
offices, hospital rooms, or any other phones that are regularly shared with
many other people.
Do I need any special equipment or software?
Answer: No. Our service it's very easy to use, there
is no VoIP equipment to buy and no software to install on your PC.
How am I charged for the calls I make?
Answer: RoConnect.com service has absolutely no
connection fee, no weekly or monthly fees, no expiration, no taxes or no other
hidden fees. Calls are billed per minute based on our low rates starting from
1.9 cents a minute (

Our international calling service it's a post paid service and there is nothing
to pay in advance. In the sign-up steps, our clients are required to enter
a credit card number and once the account it's activated they can start making
calls. When the balance on the account reaches $10.00, the registered credit
card it's automatically charged for the $10.00 balance. At the end of each
month, clients receive an email with a detailed invoice and the option to
pay any left balance online using a credit/debit card or PayPal account. If
an Invoice is not paid by due date, the credit card number registered to your
account it will be automatically charged for the remaining balance.
How do I dial an International phone number?
Answer: To dial any PSTN phone number you must dial:
Country Code + City Code + Phone number.
For example if you want to call Mexico (country code 52) phone number in
Guadalajara (city code 33) you must dial 5233 and phone number.

Virtual Phone Numbers
What is a Virtual Phone Number?
Answer: A Virtual Phone Number is a real phone number
where family, friends or business associates can call you at a local cost. We
call it "Virtual" just because there is no need to install aditional
phone lines or aditional hardware.
How do I buy a Virtual Phone Number? How much does it cost?
Answer: You can buy a Virtual Phone Number in
Sign
Up steps. If you are an existing RoConnect customer you can also buy
on the same Sign Up page and we'll assign the virtual phone number to your existing
account. Your new Virtual Phone Number will be assigned in 24-72 hours and you
will be notified by e-mail as soon as it is activated.
United States Virtual Phone numbers are $5.00/ month.
International Virtual Phone Numbers from any other 50+ countries are $15.00/month.
Each Virtual Phone Number has a one time activation fee of $5.00
How do I receive calls with a virtual number?
Answer: Let's say you have family or customers located
in Madrid, Spain. You want to provide an easy and cost effective way for them
to reach you in the United States (or any other country). You would order a
phone number from Madrid, Spain and have it forwarded to your United States
number (or any number in any country). Now your family from Madrid can call
you on your Madrid phone number that is "local" to them, without having
to pay international charges, and you receive the call on your existing phone
in the United States (or anywhere else in the world). The phone number where
you receive the calls can be updated online, anytime.
In other words, roconnect.com has partnered with global carriers from around
the world that provide phone numbers from 50+ countries. When a phone number
is called in that country, our partner carrier sends the call to our network
and we forward the call to your phone

what cities and/or countries does RoConnect provide Virtual Phone Numbers?
Answer:RoConnect.com provides Virtual Phone Numbers

How much does it costs to receive calls on my Virtual Phone Number?
Answer: We can forward calls to any mobile or landline
phone in the world and the cost to receive calls is the same rate of calling
to that destination.
For example if you forward your Virtual Phone Number to any phone in the United
States, the call forwarding rate would be 1.9 cents a minute, the same rate
as calling any United States phone number. The same rate of 1.9 cents/minute
applies when forwarding calls to many other countries including: Canada, United
Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, France, Denmark, Argentina, Germany,

The call forwarding charges are paid after the calls are received. If the balance
on the account for receiving calls reaches $10.00 before the monthly invoice
has been generated, the registered credit card it's automatically charged for
the $10.00 balance. At the end of each month, clients receive an email with
a detailed invoice that will include the monthly fee for the Virtual Number(s)
for the next month and any left balance for call forwarding charges. Call forwarding
charges are listed as "Voice Calls" on the monthly invoice. If an
Invoice is not paid by due date, the credit card number registered to your account
it will be automatically charged for the invoiced amount.
Can I make calls with my virtual number?
Answer: No. Your Virtual Phone Number can only receive
calls that are forwarded to your existing phone. You can make calls from your
phone by dialing our access numbers or using the iPhone RoConnect VoIP app.
Can
I buy more than one virtual number?
Answer: Yes. If you want to buy more virtual numbers you need to signup again for another account. While signing up for another RoConnect account, you can use same information and e-mail address and we'll assign the new numbers to your existing account.
What
happens if I fail to pay the monthly fee for my virtual number?
Answer: Virtual Phone Number monthly fee is charged
for one month in advance. At the end of each month, clients receive an email
with a detailed invoice that will include the monthly fee for the Virtual Number(s)
for the next month and any left balance for call forwarding charges. Call forwarding
charges are listed as "Voice Calls" on the monthly invoice. If an
Invoice is not paid by due date, the credit card number registered to your account
it will be automatically charged for the invoiced amount.
If the system fails to charge your credit card, you will be notified via e-mail.
If we do not receive a payment for one month, your number will be cancelled.
Please note that there is a risk that your number may be sold to another customer
after cancellation and you might lose your number if you make a payment afterwards.
How do I cancel/suspend my virtual number? Can I continue to use the service without my virtual phone number?
Answer: There are no long term contracts with RoConnect.com
and services are offered on a month to month basis so you can cancel your Virtual
Phone Number anytime. Once you cancel your virtual phone number you can continue
to use RoConnect.com only to make calls without any monthly fees.
You cannot suspend your virtual number for certain period of time and if you
cancel the number you might not be able to get the same number in the future.

How does Fax-To-Email fax service work?
Answer: Fax-to-Email number processes and routes
all incoming fax messages to your email address. For a low flat monthly fee,
with our Fax-to-Email number you can receive an UNLIMITED number of fax pages
per month. (most fax-to-email providers charge a much higher flat fee plus about
10 cents/page)

do I receive a fax with Fax-to-Email number
Answer: People will dial your Fax-to-Email number
just like any other fax number and we'll send all fax pages to your registered
email address as .pdf or .tiff attachments.

Will I get my own private fax number?
Answer: Your fax number will be solely assigned
for your use and will function like any normal fax number for your callers.
Can I get a local fax number in a country I don't live in?
Answer: Yes. You can pick a local or international
number in over 3,500 cities around the world. Many of our users obtain a local
fax number in not just the city in which they live, but also in the city in
which they may be doing business. Live in London but are doing business in Stockholm?
You can get a local fax number in Stockholm for your client's use.
Will
people sending me faxes experience any difference?
Answer: Those sending faxes to you will experience
no difference from a standard fax machine when dialing your RoConnect Fax-to-Email
number. They will dial the Fax-to-Email number just like any other fax number.
Will my online faxes with RoConnect remain private and secure?
Answer: Online faxing is much more private than
an office fax machine shared by many people. With RoConnect, you can view your
faxes privately on your computer, rather than having it sit open on a community
fax machine. RoConnect secure fax servers have close to a 100% uptime, which
means no busy signals and secure, encrypted delivery of your faxes.
Can anyone send me a fax or must they be a RoConnect Fax-to-Email number subscriber?
Answer: Anyone can send a fax to your Fax-to-Email
number. Your Fax-to-Email number works just like any regular fax number. Senders
do not need to subscribe to RoConnect Fax-to-Email.
Can I send faxes using my RoConnect account?
Answer: No. At this time you can only receive faxes
with your Fax-to-Email number.
How can I cancel/suspend my Fax-to-Email number? Can I continue to use the other RoConnect services without my Fax-to-Email number?
